Practicing the 9 values exercise with oil paint.
This is a fundamental and classic exercise in academic painting, very suitable for Adelah. -

She completed the drawing of the two objects by adding shadow areas and cast shadows. In this part, she did very well. This should be enough for the basics, and she can now return to practicing with oil painting. -

Moving on to a more challenging exercise, Adelah practiced drawing two basic objects, combining both the measuring stick and comparative measurement methods. Although her pace was a little slow, the result turned out quite accurate — a very good effort. -

Starting again with basic plaster forms, she easily grasped the fundamental principles of measuring, creating shadow areas, and cast shadows, in order to complete a three-dimensional object within a simple space. Very good. -

Adelah experimented with an oil painting. The colors were quite clear and fresh, but she still needs to strengthen her fundamentals in drawing, as well as skills in observing forms, values, and tones. For the next exercise, it would be better to return to basic form studies.
