Emily started her final piece in the Basic Pencil Drawing 1 course. The composition and proportions are quite good. -

The hexagonal form study is quite complete — very good work. The pencil shading is excellent and beautifully controlled. -

Emily continued with the basic pyramid study. She finished it very quickly and even had time to work on the fabric texture in the background. Excellent work! -

Starting from the basic pencil drawing, I think she has learned and applied things quite quickly. -

Trial lesson with Emily. She painted with oil pastels — quite an interesting session. She has a very good sense of color, but it might be better for her to start with basic pencil drawing before continuing with color. A long journey ahead…
