Priscille completed a pencil drawing with quite good composition, notan , specially the sweet potato.
She just need to improve the material texture skill, and more relax in drawing some living items like leafs -
Priscille has resumed her pencil drawing practice, starting with very basic techniques.
Things went smoothly, as she already had a solid foundation: good form, balanced composition, and a confident hand.
I guided her to focus on studying hatching techniques to render darker values and shadows. -

Focusing on rendering the wooden horse, she began to understand how to blend charcoal and create highlights by lifting the medium. It’s a clear step forward in her technical development with charcoal. -

Despite the challenges of working with a new medium, her composition and proportions remain strong. This shows she has a solid foundation to build on, and with more practice, she’ll be able to master charcoal with confidence. -

Bresille tried a quick still life sketch and showed solid foundational skills. Her proportions and composition are both strong. With this base, I believe she will make fast progress in the upcoming course.
