Today Somin and Yewon tried pastel drawing techniques, while exploring some Impressionism facts about observing nature and color. They finished the lesson with drawing a portrait of each other.
– Somin is an energetic and curious girl. She has great imagination, will always question things, and understands techniques quickly. Her color palette is quite playful and energetic with bright colors.
– Yewon is careful and also curious. She is quite decisive, is very careful with details, and is eager to learn new ways. Her color palette is soft, dreamy, with great choice mix of muted colors and bright colors.Both kids will learn a lot more about composition and how to draw people. Good job for today!
